\"\"<\/a>A principal \u00e9 a estabilidade no emprego ou a prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra a despedida imotivada. O dirigente ou representante sindical, ainda que na condi\u00e7\u00e3o de suplente, ter\u00e1 direito a prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra a despedida imotivada desde o registro da candidatura e, se eleito, at\u00e9 um ano ap\u00f3s o final do mandato, conforme o inciso VIII da art. 8\u00ba da Constitui\u00e7\u00e3o. S\u00f3 poder\u00e1 ser demitido se for comprovada a justa causa. Geralmente, os dirigentes sindicais, em especial aqueles que integram a diretoria executiva, s\u00e3o liberados para ficarem \u00e0 disposi\u00e7\u00e3o do sindicato durante o exerc\u00edcio do mandato. Al\u00e9m disso, \u00e9 considerada pr\u00e1tica antissindical a persegui\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s lideran\u00e7as sindicais, cuja miss\u00e3o \u00e9 defender os direitos e interesses dos trabalhadores, em geral, e de sua categoria, em particular. Nessa condi\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o poder\u00e3o ser punidos por suas opini\u00f5es, palavras e votos, desde que n\u00e3o cometam crimes, nem por participa\u00e7\u00e3o em mobiliza\u00e7\u00f5es e manifesta\u00e7\u00f5es, em greve ou atos de protestos, assim como em piquetes, assembleias ou outras formas de press\u00e3o sobre o governo e o patronato.<\/p>\n
